This crystalline candy lies between fondant and hard caramel in texture.

Fudge is a crystalline candy, which suggests that crystal forming is ideal in this recipe, unlike lollipops, caramels, and taffy. What gives it its firm but smooth texture are tiny fudge micro crystals. The trick to effective fudge is to make these crystals shape at the right moment.

Both inside or on the top – fruits, nuts, chocolate, caramel, candies, candy and other flavors are often added. A recent trend has been to produce novel fudge flavors, simultaneously offering vivid visual appeal.

In tourist areas and attractions, fudge is often purchased as a gift from a gift shop. A well-made fudge is rich, smooth, and chocolate-rich. It is firm enough to retain its texture, but as you eat it, it is soft enough to melt in your mouth. The use of a candy thermometer to heat the sugar to the perfect temperature is needed by conventional recipes, a method that is sometimes more fussy than it is worth. Fortunately, there are several three ingredient fudge recipes out there that promises to make the experience of fudge-making faster and simpler. With little more than a medium-sized bowl, a microwave or double boiler, and an 8×8 baking dish to set up the fudge, these no-bake recipes can be made. For a potluck, backyard barbecue, or holiday dinner treat, it sounds like a fairly simple way to make dessert.

Is it too good to be true, though? Can a recipe taste as good as fancy, store-bought fudge with this simple taste? We tested few recipes of three ingredient fudge to the test, and voila!. Not only is this recipe simple to produce, but it’s super customizable as well. Depending on your mood and dietary habits, you can change that. The base recipe is naturally gluten-free and can be changed with or without chocolate to make it dairy-free and vegan-friendly.

As its base, our 3-ingredient fudge recipe utilities sweetened condensed milk. The first step of fudge-making is taken care of by this shelf-stable product, boiling the milk and sugar together until they are reduced into a moist, sweet solution. From there, chocolate chips and vanilla extract are all we need to add to make a sinfully sweet, super-easy fudge.

Modern-day fudge is made with a sweetened condensed milk foundation, and butter, milk, and sugar are made from traditional fudge. What’s in common with these two recipes? Dairy. Dairy! A crunchy, snappy bar of chocolate is turned into a smooth, fluffy bite with the addition of milk. That said, if you’re adopting a vegan or dairy-free diet focused on plants, we’ve found a few workarounds that don’t include milk.

Using almond butter is the best way to make this three-ingredient fudge recipe without any milk. Start by melting the chocolate chips according to the instructions from the recipe. Look for vegan chocolate chips. Enjoy life for a real dairy-free experience. Instead of the sweetened condensed milk, add in the vanilla extract and one cup of almond butter until the chocolate chips are melted.

Here any type of nut butter works: peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, or any choice in the pantry that you have. You may wish to add a liquid sweetener such as honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup, depending on your taste and propensity for sweetness.

There are moments when you only yearn for chocolate. Fudge Chocolate. Now you want it. And not in a matter of hours. And summer is here. It’s just hot. I don’t really want to spend more time in the kitchen than I need to. Now, that doesn’t mean that at any time of year you can’t make this fudge.

It will be a perfect gift during the holidays for family and friends. Or a (literally) last minute addition to a party spread or potluck. Enjoy this delicious , simple and easy to prepare recipe.

Preparation Time: 10 mins

Cooking Time: NA

Serves: 2

Cocoa powder: ¼ Cup

Condensed milk: ½ Cup

Butter: ¼ Cup

Walnuts: ½ cup – coarsely chopped

Vanilla essence: 1 teaspoon

Whole Walnuts for garnish – 4 to 5

Take a non-stick pan and add Cocoa powder (¼ Cup) and Condensed milk (½ Cup) – stir the mixture and cook on low flame

Add Butter (¼ Cup) and keep stirring

Add Walnuts (½ cup – coarsely chopped) and mix again

Now add vanilla essence and keep stirring till the mixture binds and sticks together

Final touch, serve and garnish with whole walnuts.
