However the quick version is cooked with the help of pressure cooker and pan used for tempering. There are many versions of Pav bhaji &#8211; Cheese, White, Jain, Kolhapuri, Khada, Mushroom and many more.<\/p>\n<p>Pav bhaji is served in schools, colleges and work places. It is a very famous canteen dish. Also is very popular on stations, fast food joints and tourist places. It is enjoyed by kids, teens, young couples, bachelors, married couples, seniors &#8211; just name it. It is super delicious. Most of the people prefer to have it in evening. Whenever you plan a small pictic to a famous tourist place near beach or gardens especially, you imagine a nice troll in place and then visit to the food joint nearby and order Pav bhaji! Enjoying this dish amidst the evening hangout is the most common thing most of the people do. There also also many famous joints which serves only Pav bhaji and Pav bhaji pulav as their dish. The tawa pulav is induced with pav bhaji masala, so the taste and flavor kind of remain constant.<\/p>\n<p>Pav bhaji masala is a unique flavor &#8211; made by mixing spices. Do enjoy this street style delicacy and do share your experience!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation Time: 15 mins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking Time: 25 mins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-904\" src=\"http:\/\/timesride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/I.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"164\" height=\"40\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Capsicum: 1 Small \u2013 Diced<\/li>\n<li>Water: \u00bc Cup<\/li>\n<li>Tomatoes: 5 Medium size &#8211; Chopped<\/li>\n<li>Potatoes: 2 &#8211; Boiled &amp; Mashed<\/li>\n<li>Green Peas: \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<li>Butter: 2 Tablespoon<\/li>\n<li>Oil: 1 Tablespoon<\/li>\n<li>Salt: 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Red Chilli Powder: 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric Powder: \u00bd teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Pav Bhaji Masala: 2 Tablespoon<\/li>\n<li>Coriander Leaves: \u00bc Cup &#8211; Chopped<\/li>\n<li>Water: ~ \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For Tempering:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Butter: 2 Tablespoon<\/li>\n<li>Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Onion: 1 Medium &#8211; Chopped<\/li>\n<li>Red Chilli Powder: \u00bd teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Pav bhaji Masala: \u00bd teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Dry Fenugreek Leaves: 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Asafoetida: \u00bc teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Coriander Leaves: 1 Tablespoon<\/li>\n<li>Lemon: 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Red Color: \u215b teaspoon (Optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sides:\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pav Bhaji Bread: 8 to 12 Pieces<\/li>\n<li>Butter: For toasting the bread<\/li>\n<li>Onion: 1 Chopped<\/li>\n<li>Lemon: 1 &#8211; Cut into quarters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-905\" src=\"http:\/\/timesride.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/P.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"170\" height=\"40\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Take a Deep Pan and add <strong>Capsicum (1 diced)<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>add <strong>Water (\u00bc Cup)<\/strong> so as to soften the capsicum.<\/li>\n<li>Add Chopped <strong>Tomatoes (5 Chopped)<\/strong> and <strong>Potatoes (2 Boiled&amp; Mashed)<\/strong> and mix it well<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>Green Peas (\u00bd Cup)<\/strong> mix and cook the mixture and then mash the whole thing.<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>Butter (2 Tbsp)<\/strong> and <strong>Oil (1 Tbsp)<\/strong> stir the mixture, Close the lid and let it cook for 5 minsl<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>Salt (1 tsp),<\/strong> <strong>Red Chilli Powder (1 tsp)<\/strong>, <strong>Turmeric Powder (\u00bd tsp)<\/strong> and <strong>Pav Bhaji Masala (2 Tbsp)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>Water (as required \u2013 approx. \u00bd cup)<\/strong> to tender the mixture &amp; prevent sticking<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>Coriander Leaves (\u00bc Cup &#8211; chopped)<\/strong> \u2013 Mix &amp; Mash the preparation<\/li>\n<li>Make a well in between OR use separate pan. Add <strong>Butter (2 Tbsp)<\/strong> let it melt<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>Ginger Garlic Paste (1 tsp)<\/strong><strong>, Onion (1 chopped), Red Chilli Powder (\u00bd tsp), Pav Bhaji Masala (\u00bd tsp), Dry Fenugreek Leaves (1 tsp), and Asafoetida (\u00bc tsp) <\/strong>and continue to mash the whole thing.<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>Coriander leaves (1 Tbsp)<\/strong><strong>, Lemon (1 tsp), Red Color (\u215b tsp)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Serve it along with slightly <strong>toasted buttered Pav Bhaji Bread<\/strong> &#8211; Take 1 tsp butter on a pan. You can directly toast Pav on butter, or can also add some masalas to it \u2013 little mix of Red chilli and Pav Bhaji masala.<\/li>\n<li>Serve along with <strong>Onion (chopped)<\/strong><strong>, Lemon (Cut into quarters).
