This is actually an Italian dish which is prepared by layering of these sheets along with the fillings which you prepare. The most delicious part of this dish comes from the flavor of cheese and various seasonings and spices which you use. Oregano and basil especially enhances the taste of this preparation. It can be served any time. Kids specially love this. It is also serves as a very yummy and filling tiffin snack. Also it enriches the menu of you planned tea parties.<\/p>\n<p>Lasagne has many versions. This vegetable twist version is for veggie lovers! Preparation:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Butter<\/strong> 1 Tablespoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Onion<\/strong> 1 Chopped<\/li>\n<li><strong>Garlic paste \/ Lasan<\/strong> 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Red capsicum \/ Lal Shimla Mirchi<\/strong> 1 Diced<\/li>\n<li><strong>Green Capsicum \/ Hari Shimla Mirchi<\/strong> 1 Diced<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zucchini<\/strong> 50 grams<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mushrooms<\/strong> 50 grams<\/li>\n<li><strong>Baby corn \/ chota makka<\/strong> 50 grams<\/li>\n<li><strong>Carrot \/ Gajar<\/strong> 50 grams<\/li>\n<li><strong>Yellow Corn \/ Makkai ke Dane<\/strong> 50 grams<\/li>\n<li><strong>French Beans <\/strong> 50 grams<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spinach \/ palak<\/strong> \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<li><strong>Basil <\/strong> 8-9 leaves Optional \u2013 Also, can use Pudina<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tomato Puree<\/strong> 1 \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<li><strong>Red Chilli Powder<\/strong> 2 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Salt<\/strong> 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sugar<\/strong> 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>For White Sauce:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Milk:<\/strong> 1 \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cornflour:<\/strong> 1 Tablespoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Salt:<\/strong> \u00bd teaspoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Oregano:<\/strong> 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Butter:<\/strong> 1 Tablespoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Black Pepper:<\/strong> \u00bd teaspoon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>For Pasta Sheets:<\/u><\/strong> \u00a0 (Available in stores, else can prepare at home)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Maida<\/strong> 1 Cup<\/li>\n<li><strong>Oil<\/strong> 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Baking Powder<\/strong> a pinch<\/li>\n<li><strong>Salt<\/strong> \u00bd teaspoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Water<\/strong> as required For boiling Pasta sheets<\/li>\n<li><strong>Oil<\/strong> 1 Tablespoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Salt<\/strong> \u00bd teaspoon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>For Assembling in Baking Dish:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Butter<\/strong> 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cheese \u2013 Mix of Cheddar &amp; Mozarella<\/strong> 250 grams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><u>For Veg. Preparation<\/u><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Par boil vegetables for 5 mins \u2013 Baby corn (50 grams), Carrot (50 grams), Yellow Corn (50 grams), French Beans (50 grams)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>In a pan, heat Butter (1 Tablespoon). Add Onion (1 chopped), saut\u00e9 till translucent. Add Garlic paste (1 teaspoon) \u2013 saut\u00e9 for 30 secs<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Add diced Red Capsicum (1), Green Capsicum (1), Zucchini (50 grams), Mushrooms (50 grams) \u2013 Cook them all for about a minute<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Add Par boiled vegetables (point 1), chopped Spinach (1 cup), tear and put Basil Leaves (8-9 leaves) \u2013 Let in cook for another minute<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Add Tomato Puree (1 \u00bd Cup) \u2013 Mix it well with the ingredients and let it cook till the puree dries<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>Add Red chilli powder (2 teaspoon), Salt (1 teaspoon) and Sugar (1 tsp). Cook it for another 30 secs and take it off flame.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><u>For White Sauce:<\/u><\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Mix all the ingredients &#8211; Milk (1 \u00bd Cup), Cornflour (1 Tablespoon), Salt (\u00bd \u00a0teaspoon), Oregano (1 teaspoon), Butter (1 Tablespoon), Black Pepper (\u00bd teaspoon)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>Turn on the flame and cook the mixture till it is thick. Mix it in between to avoid lumps.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><u>For Pasta Sheets:<\/u><\/p>\n<ol start=\"9\">\n<li>Mix all the ingredients \u2013 Maida (1 cup), Oil (1 teaspoon), Baking Powder (a pinch), Salt (\u00bd teaspoon). Make dough. Roll out like roti and cut (preferably rectangle shapes)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"10\">\n<li>Roast it on both sides on a tava for 20 secs on each side.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"11\">\n<li>For Boiling the sheets \u2013 Add Water (as required), Oil (1 Tablespoon) and Salt (\u00bd teaspoon)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"12\">\n<li>Spread it on a dry napkin to get rid of moisture.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><u>Assembling in Baking Dish:<\/u><\/p>\n<ol start=\"13\">\n<li>Grease the baking dish with Butter (1 teaspoon)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"14\">\n<li>Place the pasta sheets on dish, and then add the filling of preparation, grate Cheese on top. Repeat this step again to add another layer. Cover this Layer too with Pasta sheets.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"15\">\n<li>Add White sauce \u2013 in centre and spread it all over, also make sure the sauce goes all the way down from the corners<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"16\">\n<li>Pre heat oven at 180\u00b0 and bake it for 10 mins at same temperature. Remove the dish, sprinkle some more cheese and bake for another 10-15 mins. Remove the Dish form oven and serve it hot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Let\u2019s Just Go For It!
